Our family-owned business started as a promise that was made when Amy’s father Marlin was dangerously ill. The two agreed that if Marlin survived, they would do something they’d talked about for many years - start a business together. Miraculously, Marlin lived and the pair kept their promise, combining Amy’s entrepreneurial experience with Marlin’s expertise as a food scientist to create Leaf Alchemy.
Marlin is a food scientist with a specialty in fermentation and a passion for using nature to nourish and heal. When Leaf Alchemy started up, we thought “what could we do with what we have in abundance? What could we create that would impart more vitality, joy, and bring people to live firmly in the present?
We believe that experiences bring people together. Good food, good drink and feeling your best. We started with the kombucha, using local fresh ingredients. That expanded into our live cultured foods like sauerkraut and cheese, which eventually lead to developing products for CBD companies. These products worked well for healing and calming. And when we feel good, we live our best life. We live in a way that is true to who we are and what we are meant to do. We believe a person is more magnetic to others and to experiences when they feel great so CBD seemed a natural progression from where we started.
Each of our products is created with purpose using nature’s organic scientific process. The result is a product that has powerful benefits in improving health and wellbeing. We are driven to help people slow down, enjoy each moment, be open to adventure off the well-worn path, explore possibilities, and live a deeply satisfying life.
